saw early on a news crawl

When I got up this morning and tuned on the local news they were running a national news crawl.Singer Linda Ronstadt admitts to be suffering from Parkinsons' Disease and it has effected any singing ability.Probably will not sing in puplic anymore. Wow getting old really does suck.I have multiple albums,and CDs of hers w/ also Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton.She has just about mastered every genre of music she has tried from country, rock,swing ,big band and 40 ish ballads.Besides hearing of Alvin Lees' passing easrlier this year this is terrible news.

    Tragic news. But isn't it a little "late" for such a diagnosis? She's almost 70, no? What does it mean if you're diagnosed a decade or so before you are set to expire? Seems she should have shown "signs" of the disease WELL before this.

    I 'm not a doctor but from what I was told an onset can be either extemely slow like that media **** Montel Williams who says he has MS.About Parkinsons very insidious it can come on quickly and or jus take enough time time to appear that you might be stroking out or appear drunk on stage w/ sluured speach and every other symptom. Yes I thinks yes shes' 68 or so but what a voice and like I have said previosly she mastered every genere of music she ever attempted.
