I wish I could lock this thread right after posting it...

That said I just found this page that I thought was pretty helpful. Do this on some decent headphones or speakers, don't use laptop speakers.

    I swear I'm not trying to stir any pots, I just thought it was interesting to hear the differences. All my cables are from Monoprice, if that says anything.
