Rack recommendations

Hey guys:

Looking for a recommendation for a rack for my Adcom 5400 and Marantz 5007. I'd prefer something that matches this color bedroom furniture, but not more than maybe 3 shelves and not terribly expensive. I'm hitting the home stretch on my quest for good audio in the bedroom, but need to figure out a way to stack these components up without having them covering basically the whole top of my dresser.

And yes, I did a quick search here, but turned up too many results to sift through at work.

Thanks gents.

I went through several different racks over the years, when what I should have done from the beginning to save money in the long run was get what I have now, Salamander Synergy racks. It is fairly expensive, but it can be customized somewhat with doors to conceal things or not and it does come in a cherry finish.

Those look very nice, but I definitely don't want doors/enclosed so the amp can breathe. Looking for something rather basic, though the Ikea hack was a bit too......basic looking. I did see the more basic options from Salamander, but am hoping someone is a huge proponent of rack X or Y as a basic, but good looking option.

I figured that dudes of a certain age would know what I'm talkin about.

I just saw her at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit last weekend.

    Still looks good.

Something simple would be the salamander archetype. They have a cherry finish although based on your picture , the darker walnut would better match. I have one.

If you shop around, you can find them close to 2beans....shipped!

The Archetype is also a good recommendation. In the Synergy line, they also sell just the racks without the doors and side panels:

I've never had heat build up problems running amps in their racks with the perforated metal door panels and solid side panels, but I avoid using their back panels because they tend to make running cables difficult and would hold in heat.

I ended up going with this rack from Bell'o:

    http://www.bello.com/index.php?partition=show_product&prod_id=342&categ_id=39

Matches the bedroom furniture very well. Put together in about 10 minutes, and feels very sturdy. Crutchfield had it on sale for 199, so not bad for a well matched, solid stand.
