MFSL Question - "The Wall"

Does anyone have this set of disks?

Is it worth buying?

I have the originals and know that some MFSL pressings aren't all they're cracked up to be.

"Quadrophenia," for instance, which sounds like mush.

Thanks.

It's excellent, but the recent remastered set that came out a year or two ago really bridged the gap. Given how much those discs cost, I'd go with the most recent remaster set. That goes for all the albums, not just The Wall.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

The MFSL version is very nice.

What's your favorite track? I'll email you a FLAC file of the MFSL version ripped accuratley using EAC, and you can judge for yourself. Shouldn't be a problem, most of the tracks are less than 25MB.

    Wow. Thanks, falcon.

"Mother" is pretty intense, but it would be hard not to ask for "numb" if I had to name one!

Of course Mother and Numb are (2) out of the (3) tracks that are over 25MB, so gmail won't let me send them. The third is The Trial. Pick a couple others...
