Recommendations for A7s to complete my HT

First off I am not absolutely sure if this is the correct section to post this in. If not my apologies.

While waiting on my A7s (50% off sale) to show up I thought I might reach out for recommendations specifically for receivers and subs.
I did consider the TSX550t but could not find any useful reviews about them so decided on the A7s as the safe bet.

I will be getting the missing pieces ( CsiA6,FXiA6,RtiA3) over time. The end goal is a 7.2 HT system.
Listening area is 15 x15 x 8.
I have and listen to a lot of music ( jazz, latin jazz, Soukouss, Reggae , Classical etc).
I see my self watching more movies (Pioneer BDP 62FD) once this project is complete.

I currently have a CS10 ,Tsi100 and a PSW111 and will be offloading them shortly.

Where I am going to need some assistance and recommendations will be with the receiver and subwoofer selection. I am open to used, refurb and B stock or open box. Can you tell I am always looking to get value for my money

The budget for each will be between $500-$600.

The receiver is the next purchase in line so I can start putting my A7s through its paces and also to see how the sound improves as I add the other pieces especially the sub!

Looking for one with preouts (required ) and 4k upscaling (not a deal breaker)
On my short list are :
Pioneer SC-1222-K -Not sure about how they perform musically
Denon AVR-2313C - Not absolutely sure if this has preouts
Onkyo TX-NR717 - Known for their value but I am a bit wary about their known issues with hdmi and overheating

On my short list for the subs are:
The long term goal is to get 2
VTF-1 MK
SVS PB1000
SVS SB12
I know the Klipsch RW-12d is a popular value choice but I do not care to mix it with my Polks.

Once again for me this will be a long project that I am hoping will be fully accomplished by Black Friday

I do appreciate any feedback and recommendations.

you'll be able to get by with a pioneer Elite ice amp receiver but you will need an amp to make that combo really shine. That Denon will not even be close to running that gear you'll need to at least step up to the 43xx-48xx series.

Although I haven't personally heard one on RTiA7's, I'd also recommend the pioneer elites. I may be in the minority opinion that you probably wouldn't need an external amp if you went that route.

I run an older HSU sub in a slightly larger room (20'X20') and have found that its more than enough power. I don't think I have the gain up more than half and YPAO and my gf constantly complain its too loud.

Thanks pitdogg2 and badchad. 2 Votes for the Elites.

Will add the Pioneer Elites to my shortlist and start researching them.

I bet it will blend just fine with my Pioneer BDP 62FD blue ray player.

Its always a good thing if an Elite will be adequate without the need for a preout short term.

One never knows when the upgrade bug will hit where a preout will be necessary long term.

When researching the Pioneer's. You want the SC series unless you plan on adding an amp later. A little more money but well worth it for your application.

I have the SC-1222k right now and it's decent. Not quite the weight of my SC-35 but it performs well for the price. I prefer separates for my music though.
    Main Surround -
    Epson 8350 Projector/ Elite Screens 120" / Pioneer Elite SC-35 / Sunfire Signature / Focal Chorus 716s / Focal Chorus CC / Polk MC80 / Polk PSW150 sub

    Bedroom - Sharp Aquos 70" 650 / Pioneer SC-1222k / Polk RT-55 / Polk CS-250

    Den - Rotel RSP-1068 / Threshold CAS-2 / Boston VR-M60 / BDP-05FD

    I just checked A4L and found these 125wpc 7.2 Denons with preouts (3311ci, 3312ci and Denon 3313ci).
They all seem like different revisions of the same receiver.

I wonder if anyone has any experience with driving their A7s with any of these.

    Pioneer Elite SC-xx series.

As for music, there isn't an AVR made that does justice with 2 channel music.

Most likely at your level 12 gauge speaker cable will be fine, but that clear jacketed Monoprice stuff turns green. My understanding is their white (it could be gray) jacketed doesn't turn green. Still, it's cheap a$$ cable anyway you look at it.
