Found this in a storage box in the attic; Still works and fluids are not contaminated. Haven't seen this in maybe 25 years

    Very nice indeed. That zero stat gun is a treasure. I had one tossed it out after CD's came along, God if I only knew they would be worth 100.00+$ I would of hung on to it...hindsight is always 20/20.

    Nice find. I have one exactly like it (bought from Ebay about 10 years ago). I use the Zerostat, but not the discwasher brush. I prefer the newer carbon fiber brushes.

    I have the TNG phaser looking zerostat (its a different name). Those are weird.

    I have that same exact set-up. Unfortunately, my mirror is broken on the cartridge inspection tool. I still use the Zerostat before every spin.

    I kinda like the retro look of it... I am going to polish it up use it and display it... i looked em up on fleecebay and nice one get a nice price... I don't remember what they sold for new... I might have the receipt... i'll look.

    I have the Diskwasher Brush and prefer it to the newer Carbon Fibre one's and I just ordered the Zerostat a few days ago for $79 up here..
    I am also using the Pixall MKIII " The Record Cleaner that really works" I love it, really cleans anything of the record in one swipe..

    as for the cleaning fluid I was told you can just use distilled water and a drop of Jetdry..
    Up here Jetdry is the liquid you put in your automatic dishwasher..

    Down here Jetdry is something we use after we wash our private jets... Kidding... yup but I found a 6oz. bottle of D4 too that should last me a bit.

    The Zerostat I had back in the 80's was white. Somewhere a couple of years later it came up missing, someone had swiped it.

    Thats a beaut, takes me back to the 70s, and my army days.

    I had forgotten the wood base and plastic cover.

    I dont think mine had the mirror.

    I never felt the gun did a damn thing, not sure if mine was malfunctioning from the factory, but a lot of the guys laughed at me standing there, very slowly pulling the trigger.
