Nice Rotel RC 990 preamp

I will probably regret this but I am selling my Rotel RC 990 preamp. The RC 990 was the top of the line preamp back in the early 90s. Very high quality parts selection and well built. Features outputs for two amps and headphones. Has inputs for CD, aux, tuner, two tape decks with record out selector and a very nice phono stage which takes MM or MC. Has a balance control and a front panel muting button, a nice touch.
I do not have the original remote which only controled power, volume and muting on this unit. Universal remotes will run it. I have been using a cheap $19 remote (not included).
The preamp works great with no issues but the top has scratches and dings and the top edge of the faceplate has had alot of touchups all the way across. You do not really notice it if it is in a rack. Price reflects these issues. This is a very impressive preamp. The phono section alone may be worth it. I have owned two of them as well as the 995.
