I have been buying and not selling over the last few months, so now it is time to dig out of a hole. I will take paypal or local pickup in central TX, 76708. I would be willing to meet Austin or Dallas folks in Temple or Hillsboro to cut down on travel a bit. I will email pics upon request.

1. Polk rte55 - the "E" stands for export. Same guts as rt55 but with real wood veneer. Good overall condition, drivers are perfect, sounds awesome. $150 plus actual shipping HTguru1982 has first dibs.

2. Polk CS400i - Very good condition overall, drivers perfect, sounds like it should. Awesome center that will pretty much match any of the rt/rti line with the tri-lam dome tweeters. $100 plus actual shipping

3. ACI Force (original) Subwoofer. Great, incredibly tight and musical sub that hits a true 20 hz and has great speed and texture. most musical sub I have owned. It is the solid black version (no wood panel sides). It has a few small blemishes - it looks like the paint subbed off in a few very small spots. But overall very presentable, no deep scratches or dings, crushed corners etc. $225 plus actual shipping

    I must be doing something wrong. USPS site says to ship that center (I put in all the weight and measurements from Polks site) it would cost $154 from TX to CO?

    Nah, usung my FedEx account it will be about $25 (30 max) from TX to CO, take about 2-3 days. It will be packed in a study box with Styrofoam sheets all around. I've shipped several of these in the past. I'm running on in my HT right now. Great center!

    NO broken grill pegs, no pulls or snags in the grill. One "spot" on teh grill (not sure how else to describe it) and a blemish on one side and one scratch and another blemish visible on another side. Drivers in excellent condition. Listening ot them right now and wondering why I am selling!?!

    Several spots where the finish appears to have rubbed off. Other than that in excellent condition. Check out the pro reviews online. This is seriously the most musical sub I have ever owned. I know I am going to regret this...

    The ACI Force was an extremely well rated subwoofer, for the money I do not know of any sub that can do better

    I've never owned Maggies, so hopefully someone else will chime in. It is a very fast sub, mated with NHT super zeros and ones (sealed speakers with pretty fast and tight bass for box speakers). The cone is designed for speed and accuracy, not excursion like velodyne or sunfire subs for instance. Look at the review I linked, the section entitled "Technicals." The reviewer claims that ACI subs are well-regarded by owners of electrostatic speakers, although again, I have no personal experience.

    Best thing might just be to try it out :wink:
