Carver TFM-55

Bought this from Tracy (thsmith) a few years ago. He had work done on it right before I bought it and I'm pretty sure I have the documentation of everything that was done.
Great unit and sounds very nice with LSi or LSiM (at least the 703).
Selling because I've simplified my system. I'm several months into procrastinating on putting this up for sale.
$500 shipped and it will be well-packaged.

I would see it as a NICE upgrade myself, but lets see what the consensus is..... However, I am biased toward Carver, I just love how they sound with Polk components.
Nice setup BTW ratster. Love my Kimber 8VS, and LSi 15's myself.
Here are some spec's on it (note 600 wpc @ 4 ohms): http://www.carversound.com/carver-amplifiers/tfm-55/"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

I'm appreciative of you posting it. Thanks!Paul, you should've brought this out when you came over. I forgot you had it and it would've been interesting to see how it did on the Maggies. If it is a good pairing, I might be interested in bartering with ya.
We can still talk. I'll consider the sale on hold until we can talk and/or until you an listen to it.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

Ran it with my 1C's and it sounded great.
Also forgot to mention that the lights don't work. I hear it's a pretty simple, inexpensive fix, but I didn't mind the lights not working so I never bothered to fix them.
Still for sale.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
