PSW650 Won't Turn On!

So after waiting a month to get my HT receiver I was finally ready to hook up my brand new RM7600 speakers which comes with a PSW650 sub. After MANY hours of drilling holes in walls and running speaker wires I was finally ready to fire up my system and see what it could do. Much to my disappointment I couldn't get any life out of the sub. No green pilot light and no sound. Could this be anything other than a defective sub?

Is the sub plugged into a live outlet? Is the sub power switch turned on? Do you have a sub cable running from the AVR to the sub and in the AVR do you have the sub set to yes/on?

The fuse blows as soon as I plug the unit into the wall!!!

I already replaced three of them just to be sure. I tried it with and without the receiver plugged in. I don't even have to turn it the power switch on. At this point I have to say I am not happy with the quality of POLK subs. The only way I see this getting out of the factory is without testing which is always an indication of poor quality.

Bad amp or bad outlet. Try another outlet to be sure. If the fuse blows again, it's probably a bad amp, or maybe power cord. Email Ken S at Polk Tech Support and he will fix you up straight away.
