Which RCA cables?
I'm looking for a set of male to male RCA cables to hook my DAC up to my receiver. What do you guys use? All I can find are cheap looking ones on amazon. Also, is there a similar cable that I could hook to the same RCA cables with a 3.5mm jack on one end to play music through phones when people want to play something?

For a $30 dollar DAC, the Amazon ones are fine. Good RCA cables can cost a few thousand each.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

Monster cables should have something available for you. Also audioquest or scosche. Crutchfield.com is a reliable place to find something like that.

Signal cable is a great bang for the buck interconnect, but I agree with a $30 dac it wont make much difference.

+1
However, if you get better cables now you can grow with them as you get better gear. -
For solid performing/relatively inexpensive cables I like BlueJeans Cable. Notably their digital coaxial using Belden 1694A.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Acoustic Research interconnects are decent for the money and ebay has them for around $10 all day long.

I'll send you some bulk cable and solder if you want to learn how to build your own.

Attachment not found.I hook these to my iphone. They can be had at Radio Shack-WallyMART 10-15.00 or so..these are cheap Belkin and they work ok for a quick cheap hook up that sounds half way decent for phone (i use to audition receivers on the road). If your looking to use rca cables on a budget you can look online or local. A-1 on above suggestions. There are alot to be had on budget fairly reasonable. Good Luck W/search & welcome to CP..
