Luxman R-115 and RTA-12c

I am using a Luxman R-115 as a preamp to my Carver M1.0t amp. I am now hearing a thump in my RTA-12c about three to five seconds after I turn the R-115 off. This just started in the last couple of days. Even when I turn the carver off first and then the Luxman I still get a thump. Does any one know or can someone give me a diagnosis of the probable problem. I was thinking that the Luxman needs a new on/off button. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. I don't want to damage the RTA's.

I dont think its the Luxman personally, but I could be wrong. Carver M1.0t's are notorious for doing that. I am betting if you turn off the Carver amp with the luxman still on and wait 3-5 seconds the thump will happen.
There are 2 forums with instructions on how to fix that issue (its commonly referred to as the "thump fix"). Those sites are: CarverAudio.com and TheCarverSite.com. There are some folks here that are on those forums that might be able to point you to the direct links, but I dont have those on me.
I can tell you my M1.0t did this exact same thing and I am in the process of getting the "thump fix" applied to my amp."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." There are several amp brands that start doing that, its prob a cap discharging after shut down. Dont know what the fix is however i would maybe put a risistor or something ( maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in). To protect your speakers couse if you are hearing that discharge " its hitting the drivers" that cant be good for them!Main Rig:

I have researched further turning each unit on and off in different sequence. Unfortunately it seems I have a problem with both the Luxman and the caver amp. The amp has the Carver thump issue as stated in an earlier post. The Luxman puts out a thump when first turns on. I am using the Luxman r-115 as a preamp. I recently bought a Sherbourn/Emotiva Pre-1 preamp which I will get at the end of the month as it is back ordered. That will take care of one problem. Now to do research on the carver amp. Does anyone know what causes the thump in the Luxman ?
