Are these LS-50 or LS-70?
I thought LS-70 as the mids are close but images of LS-50 have close as well but some pics show little far apart.
Worth $100?

Those look like LS50's to me. Worth $100 but that doesn't mean you have to have them does it? They are worth more parted out.
Yes, I have to have them. Me me me...
Haha... No I don't have to have them but $100 is for the whole lot so thinking I can sell others and keep the Polk as I never had LS series.
BTW, these don't have the grill frame on the baffle that I see with LS-50 and LS70 at Polk site.
These have flat baffle with grill pegs instead of grill frame.

    Here is stock pic:

If they are LS-50, I will pass but probably bite if they are LS-70.

Given the grille peg layout on top and bottom, those might just be LS70's. The plastic around the grille has just fallen off, which is typical of the LS series. They were only held on by small plastic pegs (you can see the small holes on the pic that used to hold it) that snap off very easily.

I see. Seller says the label fell off so no idea what model.
I've asked to send dimensions to confirm.
I don't care for the Onkyo speakers.

Here is a pic with grills on.
I can't tell if it's cherry or black.
If black, it could be LS-70 as LS-50 only came in cherry I think.

Edit: Looking at the size of tweeter and woofer, they look like LS-50.
Tweeter size is same on both so LS-70 woofers should look bigger compared to the tweeter.
    Hmm...
    Here are them together.

The shine of the flash in the first group of pics you posted made it look like the front of the speaker cabinet has been repainted? They look like LS50's, you can always measure the cabinet and check dimensions in the specs. section of polk vintage products for LS50's.

Let's see if seller emails dimensions.
Height makes it easy to figure out.

    LS50: 32 1/2" H x 10.5" W x 11.5" D
    LS70: 37" H x 12.25" W x 14.5" D

    Size of the drivers is a giveaway too. 50's are 6 1/2, 70's are 7 1/2. I've got 50's and 90's and neither have a glossy front.

Other than the tweeter, I am digging the Onkyo speakers...

I'm going to suggest the possibility that the vinyl peeled off and he refinished the front with a can of...... BLACK PAINT!!!

    Wonder where he found it...

Yes, value is there but not enough space to bring them home for now.
Let someone else enjoy them rather than me storing them.

Yes $100 was for the whole thing.
I'd get them LS-50 if I had space or if they could replace what I'm using but answer is No to both so...

$40.00 for all 4 mids and 2 tweeters is a decent deal. Post a link.

    Ya they were very tempting.
Almost jumped on them but need to wait until I move out of here to use decent speakers.
