Time for me to thin the herd. Like others, my curiosity led me to purchase too many audio items to try out. It is time to find new homes for some of these audio equipment that I am not using. Local pickup only for now, so please don’t ask about shipping.

Hsu VTF2 MK 3 Subwoofer (12”) Sale pending

Hsu VTF2 MK 3 for sale. Used but well cared for, functions well and in good cosmetic condition. There a few fine scratches visible at close scrutiny but nothing major. However, in the interest of full disclosure, there are some spots, but only the edges, where there are bubbles on the coating. This has been reported on forums and I believe it’s a manufacturing problem. It’s only visible when viewed up close but it hasn’t bothered me. I no longer use subwoofer in my 2 channel listening room so hopefully someone can make better use of this outstanding subwoofer. 12” downfiring woofer, 250w amp power. Rosenut in color.

I do not have the shipping box. LOCAL PICKUP only.

$275 cash and carry.

Paradigm PDR-8 Subwoofer (Made in Canada)

High performance in a compact footprint. Well cared for. This a very nice and mighty Paradigm 8” subwoofer. The back panel says 200W but probably lower for RMS. Dual ports. This is the version with the non-removable front screen, which is great protection from curious fingers. Made in Canada (how often do you find that these days for consumer audio items?) with the usual Paradigm details of yonder years. Perfect for PC setup or bedroom.

I do not have the shipping box. LOCAL PICKUP only.

$45 cash and carry

Local is 91775 (Southern California)

Pictures will be uploaded later. Thanks for looking.

Would the Paradigm be better suited for HT or music?

Used it in bedroom for both music and HT. It's an 8" sub, so it's not going to shake the room but does a good job for music and non-window shattering movie soundtracks. It did blew a small figurine off it's stand once that was accidentally placed behind its ports.

    Specs:
    Low frequency extension - 29Hz (-3db)
    50Hz-150Hz variable cutoff frequency
