What do you think of this amp? I was thinking I would put it on zone 2, run it to a speaker switch and drive New Original Advents and/or Monitor 7s.

Very good choice, except you may want something that senses sound for auto on/off capability.

That unit has plenty of power, weighs almost as much as my 214, but has greater headroom, if I'm not mistaken, because that is part of the earlier "power envelope" NAD series.
Should have no problem with either set of speakers you list above. NAD and LSi7s, a lot of "synergy" there! Highly recommended!
Have fun!

I have both the 2400 and 2600. Both are really good amps and should work well for your intended purpose. Just as an FYI, you can often find the 2600 for at or around the same price as the 2400, and it is a much better amp IMHO.

No doubt! For $75 it's a steal! Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner. Around 200ish is about average so you did great!

Always had a soft spot for NAD gear...power envelope is excellent..bridged a pair of 2600 I got from Hoosier many moons ago and drove many a Polk Speaker...seems we even had some set that way for one of the SC Fests...

Glad everything is going well Ted! I've been wondering how you've been doing. I'm going to be finishing up the project here in South MS/LA soon and will be returning to North GA in a few weeks. I'm thinking of heading down to the Golden Isles sometime, I'll give you a shout when I head that way.
I bought the NADs for some Magnepans I have and really like them. Otherwise I'm running all tubes on everything else. Just thought I needed to mention that to the tube guru. Hope to talk/see you soon.
