Anybody heard if Phil X?

He plays with Phil X and the Drills, Powder, and is currently touring with this band you might of heard of Bon Jovi... He is one of those guys who probably started sleeping with his guitar at like age 6. He can sing and play lead guitar at the same time, and has a little EVH and Jimi in his DNA. He is all over you tube and does demos for a vintage guitar store called Fretted Americana. Here are a couple of tastes.

    2nd link, Phil X plays "Stairway to Heaven" while singing "Highway to Hell" on a Gretsch flat top :biggrin:

    It's called "Stairway to Hell" not easy to do

    He has tons on youtubes... that just happens to be one of my favs. He is certainly a character, and is and always has been drug free... I know that is hard to believe cuz he is a wacko...

    His bio states that he is one of the most sought after studio cats, and he is on tons of widely varied tracks. He is approaching 50, and now is probably starting reap the rewards of his obvious hard work and dedication.

    Technically he puts a lot of so called self proclaimed guitar geniuses to shame IMHO.
