They are nice looking but after the deal I got for SDAs way to out of reach for that model.I think if I were to go Polk again I hear 10s are great.I have tried the make an offer deal on some things and not once was it accepted and it wasn't a ridiculously lowball offer.

unfortunately for those Monitor 7's, any offer close to their actual value will be perceived as an extreme lowball with that high of a set price.

10's are huge compared to 7's.
Just think as SDA-2B but shorter, width and depth are similar and heavy.
Sound wise, 10's are 7's in steroid.

Don't forget he lists shipping at $80 so that's $600 total to your door for a pair of 7's. That's SDA territory.

My SDA-2B's are @ $250 so those 7's price is way into SRS's or 2.3's area.

I have my Monitor 7's with Peerless on the local CL for $120, with aftermarket stands, and not one peep from anyone. Maybe I need to raise them several hundred.

7's are a much more articulate and accurate speaker. I'd pick the 7's over 10's everytime. The side by side mid-woof's are their Achilles heal, not the best design for maximum clarity and accuracy. Still not worth anywhere close to the asking price. I guess if you don't ask you'll never know...lol
