Been to Imperial Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and La Jolla the last few days the water was cold did some body surfing.
I heard a few Great Whites were spotted this summer I was worried I would only go out about chest deep. I did not see any sharks so in honor of surviving I just poured a tall glass of this Great White Wheat Ale.

I celebrated my 1st transfer of my primary fermented beer to the secondary carboy with a Lagunitas IPA yesterday. This was I believe around 8% but hid it fairly well. If you like hops(I do!), this is one to try. Never had it before but seen it in the store, finally bought a 6. I hope my first home brew of IPA comes out similar to this. In the meantime I'll be bottling my first batch of home brew in about 2 weeks...then about a month before actually tasting it. The waiting is the hardest part of home brewing for me!Yep, my name really is Bob.

Great River Brewery-Big **** IPA
So I get home asked the Wife if she wanted an Ice Cold Big **** IPA, she politely said she had a Headache
Ok you all get your heads out of the gutter, starting early tonight got to get up at the crack of Dawn for the Pheasant Opener tommorw morning so its an annual tradition to knock back a few of these and hope to shoot a couple of Big **** in the morning

That's quite interesting though it is a collaboration.
Not a HUGE fan of Oktoberfest beers in general due to spices, yet i enjoy most Christmas beers. Go figure...Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
The Oktoberfest beers have run their course. The good ones are gone although you can still find Spaten. The winters beers are one the shelves now and Anchor Xmas Ale should be out in a few weeks
