Kenwood KA-405 intergraded with a
Kenwood KT-413 tuner. nothing "Special" but fun to play with. Nice through back to a vintage entre level 2 channel system. picked these up in a deal with some JB

    LOVE little windows into audio soul. VU meters rule....also keeps it all in perspective.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    True enough! +1 on the meters should be stanard on all amps, the designer that said " axe the meters" should have been hanged by the neck untill dead ....just saying!

    Thinking what to do with the set,garage, den, patio?? But what Speakers???? Any ideas?, i was thinking of a pair of baby advents , monitor 5's ??

    Pretty cool! And Kenwood has always made some pretty good "tuners"! What is that '80s something gear? Don't remember when that numbering came in.

    Zane77 is right, some Monitor 5s would sound good with those!

    The jbl's were given yo my best friend for his MAC 2105 system ( he really lovrs JBL. A little too in your face for me.on his mac sys they just slap u around and leave bruses all over you.incredable base it just punches u in yhe stomac and **** slaps you till u submit. Yhey were just perfect gor him .... Fir me not so much!

    Nice system. Good choice on the 5's also. Love the meters & i agree that kenwood makes some nice systems that when with some half way decent speakers they can sound very good
