Pandora paid subscription question?

So, my wife and I use Pandora A LOT! We like it because we can control our Pioneer SC-1522-K with the iControlAV2012 app, and use Pandora without turning the TV on.
However, we have been using the free version of Pandora, and I was wondering if I pay the membership and get the 192k mbps streaming, will I be able to hear a difference? Also, will this work with my AVR or does it only work via PC connection?

I don't know if you get the better streaming through other devices other than their player app that runs on PC's.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808

Correct - you only get 192kb through your PC. If your AVR (or Bluray player) supports Pandora then the bit rate (for paid subscriptions) is 128kb. There are ways to send the PC signal to your AVR via WiFi though but you'd have to control the music from your PC.Parasound P5 Pre
