Well, in the past few days, I completely forgot that I was watching two ebay sales. 1) For a Dune B1 media player, and 2) A pair of RTi10.

The darn Dune B1 sold for $200, with only one bidder, and the RTi10 sold for $382 shipped. For some reason or another my eBay account didn't sent me an email like it usually does warning me about the sale if about to end. Not even my iPhone got the message.

So, needless to say I am pretty upset!!!

If you use ebay a lot, you might want to look into a sniping app/program.

I consider them cheating, but their usefulness is pretty clear.

Out of curiosity, how does such a program work? Similar to how ticket-scalpers get-through to Ticketmaster to buy up tickets of all the "hot bands"?

You give it the ebay item id, your eBay password & how many seconds before the auction end that you want it to place your bid. Most sniping programs charge a small fee which is a percentange of the item cost.
