Just bought a pair of monitor 40 speakers used for $86 good working condition with slight blemishes and no grills. Was wondering if that is a good deal or not?

ya, i bid $15, so i'd be into them for $50. I found some rt35i local for $50 today, so i am pumped.

$86 is pretty ok price for those, depends on how badly you need speakers.

    Welcome to Club Polk!

M-40s for less than 100. You did fine! Would have been better if you had the grills, too, though?

    Enjoy!

Those sold between $100-120 on the regular. Anything less than that is a deal right? Shipping sounds a little high to me but if you like how they sound it was money well spent. Now on to more important questions: What are you going to drive these with and what CD will you spin first?
