Freaky! Says he influenced Jimmy, Bert Jansch, and others. I saw Bert Jansch open up for Neil Young solo acoustic a couple years ago and nobody in the crowd even knew who he was, they talked throughout his set and disrespected him, never realizing that Neil had personally asked him to open up his shows for him as a final gesture to a legend who was dying. Bert was a fantastic musician. I always thought Jimmy Page should've made an album of nothing but acoustic guitar.

Is that not sad, reminds me of a nazareth concert vid i rented a few years ago.

It was well past their prime, some little bar, i think in scotland or Ireland, and the few people there were DRUNK.

The guitarists seemed to be laughing and taking it well, but Dan Mccafrey, the singer, was obviously bummed by guys just hangin out, barely even noticing when songs began and ended, I turned it off after watching dan sorta stare out at these guys, rubbing his chin, and say, heres one called, Love Hurts, to no reaction at all.

For the younger crowd who dont remember, Nazareth was a pretty big effing deal for a couple years when i was in high school.

Hair of the dog is still on my top 10 rock songs and albums, with songs like the title track, miss misery and many others.

Their headlining of a show at the sold out omni coliseum in atlanta in 76 is one of my fave memorys.

Rory gallagher opened, and when naz lit into hair of the dog, well, lets just say they tore it up.

He recently collapsed onstage, heres hoping hes okay, his voice and band brings back good memorys from my youth
