Aside from audio, my longest running hobby, I also love guns and motorcyles. I used to shoot competition handgun, and trained personnel in the military on M1911A1 (.45acp) and M-9 (9mm) marksmanship. I've also been a motorcycle nut for about 11 years, and though I rode sportbikes for the first 8 years, I now have a cruiser.

The gun collection used to be huge, now I'm down to 3:

1. AR15A2 .223, my build, Eagle Arms lower/RRA Upper
2. Glock 17 9mm, (12yrs old and still looks/shoots like a dream)
3. Ruger KMK-678 .22LR target pistol

Motorcycle:

1. Honda Magna, 2002 750 V4

What other hobbies do you enjoy?

Hmmm...I also like to play on the computer, Raven Shield is the game of the month. I wish Ubisoft would work the bugs out, so I could play online again.

Mountain Biking - Men ride Hardtails :D

Audi Club of America - I like playing with the Audi, tho' I do not autocross anymore. The Track is where all racing should be, wannabee's do stop light running.

Good on you Steve@3Dai for the autocrossing!

    What problems are you having?

I just started playing this game again after like 4 months off from it and I installed the latest patches today. The gameplay seems choppy now...Is this the problem you're having?

Well racing bikes is certainly different from normal citizen riding...and the men who started this certainly didnt have that luxury. Real men go bare bones...but then again, I am not in that category either, with a front suspension :P

Demi - I will email you more about it. I am having some stupid friends list load all the time...ugh...but I have HAD that problem, the choppy video framing issue.

Carjacking and inhaling nitrous oxide are things I like to do in my spare time. I also collect shrunken heads, and like to stay proficient with my blow gun and flame thrower. Trying to have my way with Troy D's wife keeps me occupied as well.

I know, it's boring, but that's just who "I" am.

You don't know HALF the story Steve. It's not so much the shrunken heads, but what he does with them.

There's a picture floating around somewhere, Mr. Grand at his finest, wearing nothing but ladies undergarments, with a half-smoked Lucky hanging out of his mouth, JUGGLING three or four shrunken heads.

Hell of sight. I haven't been the same since I first saw it.

    You have been WARNED.

    Cheers,
Russ (of the non-juggling shrunken heads in ladies unmentionables Russ's)

Personally, I think I look okay with the bottoms on. The fact that I can't really "fill out" the tops troubles me to no end. But hey, that's what money AND doctors are for!! Someday......... my prince will come.

    Steveinaz,

If I'm not mistaken, you once mentioned that you reside in Sierra Vista. You want to meet an A-One, top of the charts, absolute stone looney, you look up my Uncle Benny Lojo over on East Choctaw Drive. He is my late Mom's brother, and hands down the biggest wack job I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a "whole wheat" kind of nuts too, because he is not a product of the 60's or anything like that. No chemical additives you know. He once told me that if I ever wanted "anything" from my Aunt Elaine (his wife), all I had to do was rub her t!ts a little. Didn't seem to bother him that she was sitting right across the Thanksgiving dinner table from me when he said it. Nor the fact that the ENTIRE rest of our family was sitting at same table. He didn't exactly whisper it in my ear either. I was about 16 when this occurred. Just a great, all-around guy, and a standout in his field.

Hey guys! I've been looking around on these boards for a few days, but this is my first post. I'm looking at picking up some RM6005 satellites as my first set of decent surrounds on a VERY tight budget (it's tough being a student), and I thought I'd check out the rest of the polk world.

Anyways, other than being interested in home audio, I also enjoy mountain biking. It's good to see a few other bikers on these boards. Right now I'm riding a Rocky Mountain RM6. I'm about an hours drive from the famous "North Shore" here in B.C., so freeriders have a lot of places to ride. Another thing I enjoy is music. I'm a bassist in a band with two friends. We're sorta like Radiohead, most like "The Bends" album. I can let you guys know when we get our demo recorded if you'd like.
    HT Setup:
    Pioneer VSX-D912K
    Polk CSi30 Center
    RM6005 Satellites (Fronts/Surrounds/Rear Center)
    Nameless 10" Sub

Personally, I like golf and reading.

Look, the thing between Wendi and George, you know, I deal with it. I mean, I don't blame George because, well, he can't help this curse he has. I don't blame Wendi because, well, she can't help it. I can deal with the rum ( I like good rum), I can deal with the Lucky Strikes (the have a certain panache), I can deal with her wanting a mid-80's Chevy Caprice. What I REFUSE to deal with any longer is the Brylcreme and the damn George-size clothes. Christ, my head sticks to everything and I look like a friggin' sausage. What a nightmare.

    Computers
R/C Cars (have a T-Maxx and just aquired an Ofna 1/8th scale buggy, haven't run it yet)

I'm also a mild hiking enthusiast, if there is such a thing. Ricketts Glen is right around my area, I can get there inside of 40mins. Lots of nice hiking trails around there. The Falls Trail is the best. took me around 3hrs 20mins to hike it, tho....

Not yet. I've been getting my **** kicked this week, and in about ten minutes, I have to go breakdown both Tiff and Stephies rigs, so the housepainters don't dick them up tomorrow. Their rigs will be stored in front of my He-Man Rig, negating any listening to ANYTHING for the next few days.

Get well man! **** around with the wife of an ailing man is in poor taste, and I'll have none of it!

Will do, and, I'm happy to report.....the C-16 is one ultra-neat, cool man item. One set of main outputs is voiced exactly like the C-1 and the other is voiced to sound like a tube preamp. VERY cool. I MIGHT be mistaken but the sweetspot, while still small, seems larger than it did on the C-1.
