I collect scorpions evidently.
They are not too bad dipped in chocolate!
Come to think of it, fried on a nice salad (maybe tomorrow night).

I'm not sure what the deal is (rock house:redface:), but I am pretty popular with this species (insert clapping hands smiley here)!

Last year, in bed asleep, had one crawl on me, slapped at it and got STUNG!
No big deal actually.

Lastnight, same thing, minus the sting (I am getting quicker)!

This particular one had a Siberian Rehabilitation (Freezer).

Anyone else having these problems?

Nope, no scorpions here, at least that I am aware of. You need some cats. I bet they would take care of that problem.

That one happens to be a pretty big one (I should have had it mounted), wish I had put a quarter in the pic for comparison.
If you look closely, it has a couple of tatoos, one from the Navy I think, and originally had a bandana on.

Pretty sure it owed people money when it died.

I bet Steve has seen a few this year.

Not here but plenty in Tuscany. My daughter had one from Arizona in a lollipop. Said it tasted like burnt popcorn. She ate it all.

Good point Tony. It's the same "country logic" they use for keeping sheep in the bedroom.

I thought about keeping some chickens in the bathroom, but I would have to take the transmission out of the bathtub first.

Last year we saw a few in the glue traps in the house so started hunting them in our yard. We were killing about 15-20 a week. I have always had pest control at our house here in the phoenix suburbs. But this year after talking with a few clients about there pest company they were using I switched to Scorpion tech. since the switch I have seen 2 that were alive (only for a second until the mighty rubber mallet had its way) on our back fence. This was 5 days after first spray 3 months ago. I saw 1 dead one in our garage the other day. I have went on a few night hunts looking and all is quiet.

I hate those things, they freak me out.

Now, I know the reason some of us choose to live in the great northeast -- the winter kills scorpions, termites and a lot of other pests that thrive where the weather stays nice and warm year round! I knew there was some advantage to getting 50" of snow per year (or thereabouts).

I bet those scorpions are high in protein.

PS: I heard from some guy called "cheezy" that scorpions imbedded in black crystals from the Andromeda Galaxy are the best high-end fuses you can put anywhere in your rig!
