I'd go with Polk RT800. That AR speaker look nice but I'd rather have a dome tweeter instead of a horn loaded.

A horn loaded AR speaker? They don't have a great deal of experience with those.

    Polk.

Polk Rt800 was my first speaker, and the reason I found this forum in the first place. Good all around speaker, especially for the price. I don't think you'll be disappointed and can always get your money back out of those.

There is no "best" - it's a silly misguided question. You need to listen to each speaker and determine whether one sounds better to you. We can't tell you what sounds best, you need to go out and do the listening yourself and then make a decision.

I agree that you need to hear them for yourself but there's a ton of members here with experience that can give you their opinion as well, it definitely doesn't hurt anything.

Don't listen to Yahzi...this is the same guy who claims that there is no such things as "tube sound" or "solid state sound". We just happen to be the fortunate group that he has meandered to after being blasted off the last forum he visited.

Are you stalking me? What forum was I apparently "blasted off" from? Got a link? Proof? Pathetic.

If you're not the same yahzi that has been banned from CarForums, Tripme and a few other places, then your posting styles are amazingly coincidental. But I am done wasting my time with you. You clearly haven't got more than a third of a clue and your own words do a much better job of indicting your ignorance than I ever could.
Welcome to the Bozo list, Bozo.
