Rabbits, not Mosquitos

After thirty or so straight days of rain, including 6.71 inches Monday night alone, this should be mosquito central around here. The health department says it should be mosquito central around here. I have no measurable mosquito activity whatsoever. I have rabbits. HUNDREDS of rabbits. They are everywhere, and it's almost like the rabbits eat mosquitos or something. You'd think this was a livable situation. It's not. The rabbits can't fly near as good as the mosquitos can.

I found out this year they can't jump out of a pool either. They also sink when they become waterlogged.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

    I have cats.

    They're not even my cats.

I need to start shooting them with a potato cannon or something.

Using potatoes hollowed out and filled with cayenne pepper.

    Rabbits?

    They are a pain.

But I have Raccoons. And they are 1000X as destructive. They are tipping garbage cans. Killing chickens. destroying my tomato plants. Stripping the fig tree bare. And pissing off my cats. Can't shoot them cause i am in the city. Si i have been trapping them and driving them up into the hills and releasing them. Hasn't made a dent.
