Just wondering but with High Definition TV coming out to replace Analog TV what is going to happen on the audio end? Something is bound to change right? Will there be new digital speakers or something that will plug into a receiver that is diffrent from what we see today?

Any know what might be going on?

The thing I see is going from 7.1to 8.1/9.1 and the intro of wireless speakers from some manuf.'s Where things will truely go will be anybodys guess but I have seen the introduction of a screenless, projectionless TV. The image just appears floating above the unit. So I would say who really knows.

the problem with wireless speakers is you need a amp in the speaker and you need batteries to run it so you give me a good amp and a batery that will run it for 2 hours strait yeah right. but i do see 9.1 soon my pre has it.

I hope I live long enough (another 50+ years) to see holographic image type tvs / projectors or whatever they will be. Wouldn't that be cool technology? 3 - dimensional images that are so real and lifelike looking you think that you are there as an observer. Yeah, I know .. a little far fetched but I bet somebody out there is working on it maybe.
