This pre is in beautiful condition. If anyone has been around here for long you'll know how nice this is. The only issue is the key fob remote only works to up the volume, it will not turn it back down. I have jumped through hoops over the last couple weeks to make sure that it was only a remote issue and it is. The pre functions properly and sounds as good as I remember it. Hate to let it go but I really want a pre that has a remote.

It will come with a Brimar rectifier and a pair of RCA tubes to get you going. Everything is in the exact same condition that I bought it from Darren a couple weeks ago.

    This is an awesome preamp and for many has been the end of the road.

    I remember when I got mine probably 7 or 8 years ago.... a lot of people here thought I was crazy for buying a Chinese pre...... Funny how things change.

    Does this pre have a phono stage?

    Unfortunately, I don't think I have the ducats at present to be in the buying market, but I am looking for a nice pre with a phono stage to match with my Parasound HCA 1500A power amp to drive a pair of Polk SDA 2B TL speakers and I am curious if it has a phono stage for my Thorens tt.

    I have heard great things about the Dared pre amp.

    Why is this still here??? The remote can be replaced,right? Should not be much of a cost

    ^^ To you maybe not. Myself, I purchased expecting a working remote. I didn't receive it that way. I have gone round and round trying to get one. I've dropped money and time trying to locate one and to make sure it wasn't the unit that was bad. I just figured I'd try to sell because it will cost me shipping if I send it back or just move it along to another Polkie.

    What I simply meant was I can't believe someone wouldn't buy this unit at this price simply because the remote volume won't go down. This is a good price.
