Very nice pair of Vandersteen 2CEs from around 1993-94. I am the 2nd owner and bought them from the original owner. Serial numbers 2CE 63458 and 59. These are the ones with the 1 inch tweeter NOT the .75. They are in excellent condition with one tiny black mark toward the back of one of the wood tops (never bothered to do anythingh about it.) and a tiny hole in the sock in the rear by the control panel (but it has wood behind it) . Thats it, and that is nit picking. These are in perfect working order and include the optional sand fillable base anchors They are filled with sand and I did not get the spikes so I use bolts instead of spikes.. I would really like to spend more time with these but time has run out moneywise (as usual) Would prefer local pickup but will ship at your expense and I am very good at packing. Check my feedback.     Still for sale. I replaced one of the midrange units with the correct original unit. Asking $545 or BO local pickup preffered

    I have also heard these. I believe they also have the buytl surrounds and not foam. if I did not get such a deal on my SDA2bs this would be very interesting, also though way to far.

    I have the 2 CIs with the smaller tweeter. CI, CE & forward have the butyl surrounds. The Vandies sound fabulous. Best audio investment I ever made & the only component I couldn't part with. GLWS.
