For around $700 you can get a HSU Research VTF3-MK4 sub. Let me tell you that this is one bad a$$ sub. For a little more $1000 you can get the VTF-15h. Now I use my predominately for HT.Sharp LC-80uq17u

Looks like a drive-by, guys.
Still good to read what everyone is running.
I got lucky - sealed Epik Valor - running strong, great depth.

Then again, the A7s with their dual 7" woofers may or may not be getting the power they need from your current set-up. Certainly the typical AVR will be enough to make them work, but I think it goes without saying that you could expect the low-end to fill out nicely with external amplification. Of course that all depends on your preferences.Denon X7200WA

If you have the money go with the HSU or SVS. If on a budget the 505 is nice. A friend picked one up from NewEgg for $170usd and loves it, after a year he added a seconded. The $350usd he spent comes close to my HSU.When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

It will depend on your budget. If you are around the $800 dollar mark, i would go with the PSA-XV15. If you want dual subs, I would go with Klipsch RW-12D usually on sale for $279.99 from newegg.com.
Or you can get a DIY 15" or 18" sub!AVR: DENON X4000
