Every year a select group of men called the AdAmAn Club (http://history.oldcolo.com/OldTown/BusLinks/Organiza/adaman/adaman.htm) climbs Pikes Peak and sets off a fireworks display at midnight. (Mountain Time). If the weather is clear you can see it from 60-80 miles away. Here's a link for a web cam thats pointed at the mountain 24/7, you might be able to see the display as it happens.
