Power Protection/Conditioning for my Office Rig

Can I do better than the Furman AC-215A for less? I'll be protecting my headphone amp & eventually a USB DAC so two outlets will suffice. This will get plugged into a cube wall outlet. The circuit powers mine & a gazillion other desktop PCs. Looks like I can get one for around $150 or less if I'm patient. Small form factor would be nice but is not essential.

Well the go-to's at that price besides the Furman are the Belkin PF30 and PF60 (buy from buy.com only however), however they dont have voltage regulation (not sure if the Furman does either though). The PF60 is overkill for your needs so the PF30 is what I would read up on. Otherwise if you are ok with used, I have seen some Panamax stuff like the 4300's sell for in that range all day long on ebay.

I too am debating exactly what your looking at, but I dont know if I want the Furman, or the Belkin (so I can add Audioengine A2's later if I want)

Whelp, pulled the trigger on an ac215, not the newer A version. 15A capacity vs. 10A on the A version. I'm pretty stoked. My office rig will be sporting a new Schiit Asgard2. Should be a huge step up from the modest HP amp I'm using now.

Loving my new rig. The background is dead silent with the Asgard2 plugged into the Furman. Right now the limiting factor is the DAC in my smartphone. Planning to upgrade my smartphone soon to one with a version of Android which supports audio over USB, then I'll be picking up a DAC as well.

Awesome! I will be posting my little portable setup sometime this week. It became a lot more parts than I thought I would need, and I am still working out the kinks but it should be a VAST improvement over just my straight iPhone.

I also will have your former portable amp for when I am out and about the office as well.

Now just need to pickup a conditioner for it, however I have bigger fish to fry so its going to be a bit.
