It's a Definitive Technology 12" sub with it's own amp. Back of the sub says "Powerfield 12 Subwoofer" Baltimore, MD
I bought it at a thrift store for $20 and am thinking about getting rid of it now that I got my shiny new (to me) pair of RTA's. I just don't have the room.
I can't find any information about this thing though and have no idea what is a reasonable price to ask or if it's only worth throwing in the garbage.

Seems I might have placed this in the wrong section, my apologies! I'll get the organization of CP down, I promise.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Okay I finally found something. Audioreview.com says MSRP $549?! Did I find a thrift store gem at $20? To be honest I wasn't that impressed with it, are there chinese clones?afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Its an older def tech sub, I had the 14 in version that I bought on craigslist with some other stuff for 40 bucks I think. It sounded pretty awful, slow, boomy, and dismal extension for a 15 incher. I sold it on ebay for 100 plus shipping if I recall. So no gem, but you might be able to flip it on ebay and put the profits towards something better.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

That's a pretty amazing lifespan for a sub!
