Just looking to see if there is anyone available for me to mail my remote to so they can check to see if it works on theirs? The closer to me the better. I really need to get this figured out as soon as possible so I know if it's the remote or if it's in the Dared itself. I will put cash in with the remote so you can return it to me.

Have you tried the digital camera trick?
You might turn the lights off first.
Turn the digital camera on, with the screen on, put the remote in front of the camera and push a button on the remote.
You will see a blueish light in the remote if it is transmitting properly.
I believe even a phone camera will work.
At least you will know if the remote is transmitting.

Well, I just tried 2 remotes and one was red, and one was blue, both work, but you cannot see either with the naked eye.Testing

I tried that and it shows that it works but the only way to really know IMHO is to try it on a unit that you know is functioning properly.
