Replacing Monitor60 speakers

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure this is my first time posting, but I had a question about replacing a couple of my speakers.

Currently I am running four Monitor 60's, a CS2, and PSW10 as my setup. The speakers are powered by a Denon 161. My question is what would be a good replacement for the two monitor 60's I am using as my surrounds? I've researched getting the monitor40's but I am not sure if I can find them or if they would be worth getting since they are an older series.

Thank you,

Arnold

Yes, sorry. I forgot to say that with my living room setup I can place my left surround anywhere except right next to my couch, which is inconvenient. I would like to get bookshelf speakers and mount them to my ceiling.

Why not get a speaker designed for surrounds like an FX 500 or fxi series ? It will give a wider surround field than a direct radiating speaker.

Thanks, going to start looking for them. Hmm seems I need 100 posts to look at the F/S threads haha.

Until then, you can look on Ebay, Audiogon, or your local craigslist. We have a thread somewhere too on alternative sites to shop for audio.

Besides, I can tell you.....there aren't any in there right now.

Why not get in-ceiling speakers like the RC60i or RC80i? I'm not real clear on what you mean by "mount them to the ceiling."
    Display: LG 47" LCD | AVR: Marantz SR5005 | BD: Panasonic BDT-210 | CD/SACD: Oppo 980 |
    Amps: Rotel RB-990bx | Marantz MA-500 | Speakers: Totem Mite : Totem Mite-C : RC60i | Sub: HSU VTF-2 MKIV

    HK AVR635 | Polk R30 | Sony DVD/SACD Player

I really am not comfortable cutting into my ceiling and running all the wiring. I was just going to get wall mounts and and place them in the corner.
