I have another Miles Davis box set for sale. I did not list this with the other 2 box sets I listed earlier today because I was holding it for a CP member who told me he would buy it but just now sent me a pm telling me he changed his mind.
Prices are noted below and include media mail shipping.
But if anyone wanted to buy all 3 box sets, I can offer all 3 box sets for $105 shipped
(a savings of $10). Payment by check or money order only (sorry, no pay pal).
(1) Miles Davis & John Coltrane: The Complete Columbia Recordings, 1955-1961 (6 CD box set).
This is the smaller, square-shaped box with metal spine (not the larger box).
All (CDs, box, booklet) in excellent condition with just a few small and innocuous surface scratches to the outer metal box.
$45 shipped (which is half the cost of the amazon new price).
The other 2 box sets I have for sale are the following (see my earlier post):
(2) Miles Davis & Gil Evans: The Complete Columbia Studio Recordings (6 CD box set).
This is the smaller box with metal spine (not the larger box).
The smaller/metal spine box is rarer and, imho, a nicer format than the larger box.
All (CDs, booklet, box) in great condition with slight shelf wear to corners of the label on rear of box.
$45 shipped (less than half the cost of the amazon new price).
(3) B.B. King, King of the Blues, 4 CDs (each in its own in jewel case).
The 4 CDs were part of a box set but I only have the 4 CDs.
I do not have the box or the booklet, but this is still a lot of great music for the price.
All CDs and jewel cases are in excellent condition.
$25 shipped (about half of the cost of the amazon new price although, of course, amazon new price is with box and booklet and, again, these are just the 4 CDs with no box and booklet included).
Thanks.

I would be open to reasonable offers. -
I sold the Miles Davis /Coltrane box set and the BB King set locally today so those 2 are no longer available.
The Miles Davis/Gil Evans 6 CD box set is still available. I can do $36 shipped if anyone is interested in that one.
Thanks.
Big Dawg, I received your pm and offer and tried to send you a reply pm to let you know that I had sold 2 of the 3 items earlier today (prior to receiving your pm and offer) but your mailbox is full. -
Last bump and last chance to get a great box set:
Miles Davis/Gil Evans: The Complete Columbia Studio Recordings (6 CDs )- $36 shipped.
Here is all the info you need about this (from allmusic.com):
"Over the course of six compact discs, Miles Davis & Gil Evans: The Complete Columbia Studio Recordings collects every bit of music the legendary duo recorded together between the years 1957 and 1968. Each of the original albums -- Miles Ahead, Porgy and Bess, Sketches of Spain, and Quiet Nights -- is presented in its original running order on separate discs; each individual disc is augmented with revealing alternate takes and rarities, like the duo's long-unavailable music for "The Time of the Barracudas" at the end of the Quiet Nights disc. The remaining two discs are filled with alternate takes, rehearsals, overdubbed solos, studio chatter, and outtakes. All of the music sounds splendid and often revelatory -- for instance, in addition to being released in stereo for the first time ever, Miles Ahead is presented in its original version for the first time on compact disc. Each disc is enclosed in a sleeve that replicates the original album release (both covers of Miles Ahead are included within the set) and housed in an immense, detailed, gold-bound 197-page book. In fact, if there is any fault with the set it is this: since the notes, sleeves, track listings, and discs are bound together within one thick book, the set feels like a library piece instead of a functional, listenable retrospective. This is vital music that will be accessed often by anyone willing to invest in the set, so the box set should have been designed with that in mind. Nevertheless, Miles Davis & Gil Evans: The Complete Columbia Studio Recordings is filled with so much visionary and beautiful music it makes the slight flaws in packaging forgivable. " -
