Time to upgrade/update?

I've currently got an LSi9/7 setup with matching center. Also a rock solid Denon 4800 which will push any speaker connected to it and I've been happy for years. The speakers have performed brilliantly with the Denon, but I don't listen as much as I used to, so I'm thinking about a quality sound bar to replace the stands and speakers. What's the best sound bar out there for general TV and movie use? Any recommendations?

I think that whichever sound bar you decide to purchase, you should hold on to your LSI's. I have a feeling the sound bar will be going before the LSI's.

Agree. Going from LSis to a soundbar would be like trading in your Porsche GT3 for a Prius with a bad battery.

    +1 Keep the speakers.
If you must, buy any of the Polk or the Yamaha bars. Without a sub, they will not satisfy.

Meh, buy the sound bar and make me a deal on your LSis :)

I have one of the original yamaha YSP units and it is actually fairly impressive on how it bounces sound all over.

Yeah maybe I'll keep them....THanks for the advice and votes. I've been seeing lots of "sound bar" kits with sub for sale in stores that seam intriguing, I thought that might be where the new market is going and they might sound pretty good....

(nguyendot, make me offer I can't refuse and they are yours, LSi9/7 LSiC all mint condition with original boxes, except for 9's had to break down that box)
