I went to Burger King earlier, drive thru.
I made my order.

They replied that it was so hot, if I wanted it "Cooked My Way" I would have to come in and cook it myself!
WTF?

Saw a Squirrel run across the road dragging a small water bottle behind it shortly after that!

    It got pretty hairy lastnight.
When you hear chainsaws in the distance @ 8:30am in July, that is not a good sign.
    Luckily, I have no damage.

Had an F4 come through here 3 years ago, killed 5.

Just part of living in Tornado Alley I guess.
Usually, when it is over 100 degrees you know its coming.

Not sure which I would choose, the scary weather, or being married, I have been thru both, and they seem pretty equal to me!

You take care up there pepster, that area of Arkansas always gets hit hard by rough weather every year it seems. I noticed last night that same line of storms is moving down this way, with afternoon heat, it might spark some strong activity this afternoon in SE Texas around Woodville, Cleveland,Livingston areas.

    That was absolutely horrible.
    Very sad.

IIRC there was only 36-38? F5's ever recorded in the US, and 2 have hit Moore.

I have to hand it to my last employer (Pepsico), they step up big time when something like that happens.
Sending many tractor trailers of water/food and donated items, on their own dime.

When Joplin got hit, Wal-Mart donated $7000 to help rebuild a Joplin school ($7000?).
Pepsico spent Millions to help out.

Yah dude the whole US turned out to help out Moore. This is because we stand together and when other places have problems we always send what we have as well.

We just tied our record this week for consecutive days with temps over 100 (the temps dropped below 100 Tuesday).....39 days. It was ok last month when it was a dry heat., but this month we've been over 100 with high humidity due to our monsoon season.

I think the highest during the streak here in Tucson was 112.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

We've been lucky so far here. A handful of 100* days thus far, but it's been staying in the low-mid 90s for the past couple weeks. It was actually hotter last month. Got up to 106*

Cody, that must have been the Sat. we hit 107 here in Houston. We sure need some rain to help the crops out.
