Aquired a brand new pair of Audioquest Rocket 33's today and plugged em in. I read mixed reviews on them, but they seem very balanced and are very well made...Gotta let them cook for a while... Could I possibly be done tinkering with this system and now just be a ble to sit back and enjoy... Probably not very likely...:rolleyes:

    Tinkering/ Tweaking never ends! I once thought I was done too, but . . . . . . . . . :biggrin:

    My latest two tweaks are replacing the cheap wattgate IEC and Lowes crapola AC plug on my DIY Dac cable with Furutech Gold connectors. Didn't think there would be that much difference, but omg!

    Another great tweak is after market fuses. The only one I've tried, the Synergistic Research, made as dramatic an improvement as getting great NOS tubes for my linestage. Still can't quite wrap my brain around why that's so.
