RT800i Woofer Repair

I have RT800i front speakers, and since I bought them one of the woofers is coming apart. The cone is separated from the rubber surround for about an inch or two. It has not seemed to affect the performance, but I would like to repair this. Is there a way to glue it? I called Polk a few years back and I don't believe they had the same exact replacement woofer (Mine is blue - the 'i' series). I seem to recall someone mentioning a glue called 'tack-tack' cement or something? It seems like gluing would work, just don't want to ruin the cone or surround with a glue that could cause problems.

Any help is appreciated!!

Or if anyone has a woofer (sorry, don't have the exact model - at work) they can part with for a reasonable price, I'd be interested.

OK, the model number of the driver is MW7202 (and in smaller print - BD7202) manufactured in October 2001. Anyone have old stock laying around that you're willing to part with? Can you pick these up (in the blue color) from Polk?

Again, sounds ok, just the cone pulling away from the rubber surround in a spot. Is gluing ok, and if so, is there a special type of adhesive?

It seems to have stayed the same for the past 5+ years, so I may just leave it alone, and if it goes, replace the driver at that time...

Hi,
I believe any of the cyanoacrylate glues will work fine, I use the Locktite brand myself.
