I have had all of these in several different formats at one time or another. I felt it was time to upgrade these as most my copies are worn out. I had a $20.00 Best Buy reward zone certificate burning a hole in my pocket so I got these new remastered copies with the 26 page booklet and bonus dvd in each one. I consider these 3 of the best albums ever released and I'am happy to have these. Did anyone else get these? I guess Jimi's Estate is like Tommy Bolins, or Zappa's, they keep rereleasing stuff for us fans to spend our money on. :lol: the best part after the certificate I only paid $17 and some change for these.

    Ya gotta give them 8-tracks some time to cool off, Steve! Ya can't just leave them in the player for hours on end...the heat will melt the plastic cases! :razz:

    You shouldn't have the same problems with the CDs. Congrat's! Well done.

    After cashing in all my points, I got the entire Battlestar Galactica Bluray box set for just 5 bucks. It would have been 200 bucks without them.

    Hey Terry believe it or not I owned Are You Experienced on 8 track and played it on my GE high end stereo my first one!! As far as the original album cover art it is in the 26 page booklet it was the UK version to bad we live in such a censored country. The UK version is better.

    Are You Experienced was one of the very first albums I ever bought. Played it on a used Dual turntable with a Heathkit amplifier and some DIY speakers that I made. It was a very good first stereo music purchase. Enjoy!

    I bought the Are You Experienced album when it first came out on cassette. Back then, I only had a portable cassette recorder( Lloyd's??) to play it on.This was like 1967 or '68. 8 track players in cars was catching on and car cassette decks were a long way off,lol.
