Camcorders with best audio capabilities

I'm looking for camcorders with the best internal audio capabilities, or the ability for an external mike. Under $1k.

    Why not use a dslr 's video capability? That way you can have a great camera and video cam too. I have a sony a65 and love it. You also will have interchangeable lens system with hd video and good sound too. You can get the camera and a tamron 18-300 af lens with piezo drive that is totally quiet for about a g. Great system that does whatever you need it to do.
