Has anyone bought this one yet?
I never had a chance to see this movie in the theater. I saw the trailer and seemed like this movie got some great explosions. Hmmm.
Looks like Dolby Digital 5.1 track is quite powerful. LFE got be agressive and heavy for a movie like this.

The LFE track in SWAT is not overcooked at all. The bass had decent definition and character, but nothing rocked the room at anywhere near the insane levels of some recent offerings like T3, Nemo, Daredevil, FOTR-TT, etc.
I played SWAT at about -5 RL (pretty loud), with the sub running flat or maybe 1 dB hot. If you want stronger bass from SWAT, bump the sub level up 3-4 dB and it should get you there without being overwhelming.
Movie was pretty standard cop fare. I'd give it a 6/10 as a movie overall. But since I'm a shooter, I liked the SWAT training scenes, the firearms, and the long range shooting/sniping stuff so it rates higher in my book.
They were using the Kimber 1911 .45 auto as a sidearm, and the Remington 700 bolt action .308 for a sniper rifle, which reflects real life - nice touches. Farrell also makes accurate comments about gunsmithing a Colt AR (recoil buffer, gas rings/cylinder) - also nice touches.

Doc, I love it when you talk dirty  .
I enjoyed it as well. Now I want one of those ACOGs for my AR.

P.S. I already have the 1911 . -
bought it last night, saving it for tonight...:)
I missed it while on the theater, based on feedback from others, I thought it's a keeper..I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -
Watched it yesterday and thought it was decent.
I love Michelle Rodriguez ... very hot, but no nudity, so the film loses potential big points right there.

I just watched this at a friends. All I can say is THANK GOD that I didn't spend the money on this (either in the theater, or the rental/purchase fees). It's predictable, IMO random, drawn out, and mostly a lot of unnecessary sequences just added in there.
Great sound and PQ does not a great movie make......comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -

I must be a sick ****. Id rather have the ACOG then see Michele Rodriguez naked.
That must be why Mrs. MAP loves me.:)
