I have used these EL34s very little as I was impressed with how tightly matched my Mullard cryo re-issue were:
KT77 Genalex re-issue from Jim McShane (my amp has hazen grid mod so I never used this except one listening session) - $68 shipped
EL34 Black Treasure - $95 shipped
6X4 pair - RT France mil-spec (Mazda) D-getter NOS in NOS boxes with (2) Herbies dampers $45 shipped (these dampers can actually squeeze onto 9 pins too)
(3) E80CC gold-pin Holland 1964 - $105 shipped for all (test results written inside boxes 60/60 60/60 62/62)
6V6 Mazda gray glass $75 shipped

I'm looking at some on ebay but not sure which to get and do not trust much of what I see (i'm new to tubes). Also guide me on what a fair price would be....

No sorry not any more. I have had good look with Jim McShane and Upscale Audio. check out the Matsu****as Kevin is selling at Upscale. I think they are PCC88 but should be fine. IIRC they are affordable and get good reviews.
