I have an extra pair of these speakers that no longer fit into my plans to finish my basement. I purchased them from a well regarded forum member who told me they were in pristine condition, not a mark them except for a little drywall dust on the power port that could easily be wiped off. Full disclosure-they are not pristine. They are certainly presentable and I suspect most would be very happy with them but they do have a few scratches I have tried to photograph. The grills appear flawless, I can find no issues with them. The forum had me re-size the pics as they were too large. Hopefully they come through OK.
I am looking for $375, Paypal gift preferred as I am losing my butt on these at this point. I will also be happy to trade for any LS based in walls if by chance someone has them. I will give preference to anyone local as I would prefer not to ship however; I will ship, if necessary, at buyers expense. I will have to figure out a better packing solution than the previous seller.
I do do not feedback under the "new" system but I have done many deals on this forum and pride myself on integrity.
Thanks,
Eric

For the record, in the original thread, the seller stated these were in "excellent" condition, which I would easily agree with. And his asking price was $425. You're asking only $50 less so don't act like you're losing a ton of money here. And to top it off, you had to make a snide comment about the original seller's packing job. Looks like the speakers arrived to you in good condition. You pride yourself on integrity? Your post does not reflect that at all.Display: Sony 42" LCD

HTguru1982,
1. Obviously you're bored as I did not link to the original sale, second again full disclosure, $425 did NOT include shipping which was $60.
2. During PM with the member (which I still have, BTW), we agreed on $450, to which I later added an additional $10 for a total of $460 as he told me packing materials were a bit more than he thought.
3. I still have these original Fed Ex boxes these were shipped in, packed very loosely with with a little bit of bubble wrap. The "snide" comment you refer to is fact, they were packed very poorly. There is no excuse for that especially when I paid additional money to ensure they were packed well.
4. Once again via PM, prior to purchase, I stated "I saw the pics but can't tell for sure, are they mint?" [/QUOTE]
Reply: Yeah. There's some drywall stuck to the powerport, but I can scratch that off.
5. Fully disclosure again, I paid $460 shipped, I am ASKING $375. That is considerably lower than what I paid for "mint" speakers.
6. I realize people on the Polk Forum look out for one another, I do, too. That's exactly why I have been as honest as I could possibly be. If I received the same courtesy, as I always had with other dealings on this forum, I would be selling a pair of MINT LSiFx.
For the record, HTguru1982, I do pride myself on integrity and that's exactly why this transaction bothered me. -
Even if you had a problem with the original seller, what did any of that have to do with this thread? You simply could have posted your speakers for sale without any mention of the previous transaction. All your complaints could have been handled through pm. I don't see any reason why you had to drag someone through the mud. There is no integrity in doing that. Next time, post your stuff, describe what's relevant, and leave it at that. Don't attack someone for the sake of a sale.Display: Sony 42" LCD

I do see your point. Even if you are totally missing mine. There is clearly more to this than you know. I did go the PM route, no response. Perhaps I should have put him on blast on the forum? Even to this day, I did not although if someone is bored and wants to back years ago and find it, obviously that is doable.
If you would like to discuss this further, please PM me as I do not think you have any interest in the speakers. -

Come on...DO NOT post a reply unless you are interested in purchasing the item
The seller has the right to ask any price he wants. If you don't like it, don't post a reply and the thread will die by itself, or make a "best offer" through a private message. -
pm'd but not sure went through call me 8162158820 thanks John

Congrats on a great set of rear speakers.
I wish I had spotted these in time. Would have been a perfect rear pair to complement the set of SRT's I got last year from Doug.
Even though I don't have a room big enough to mount the surround speakers in at this time. But you can never have too many Polk speakers. -
Congrats on the sale guys, all the way around, glad to see them go to a fellow CP member!

Thanks again, htrdln! Glad they're gonig to work out for you. I tried to give you a positive via the Flea Market feedback system. Looks like Doro's inbox has been full for a bit.
Doro, if you're reading this, please add a positive for htrdln. Thanks!
