Todays Project.

Added a shelf above CDP for TT and Phono Pre. Everthing has its challenges but everthing is isolated and solid. I should have went with this VTI stuff from the beginning and may eventually do that, but for now I have solid functionality and won't be adding any more 2 channel components.

    Very nice, and clean. Do the guitar strings vibrate when you play at high levels?

    I would imagine in theory they would, but i cannot hear or feel them. The acoustic instruments would be most prone to resonance I would think.

    I have had many listening sessions where I have hit 110 db and above... my head rattles but thats about it. This is a hardwood floor on a concrete slab in this room and I can jump on it with the TT playing with no ill effects.

    Very nice! That's one sweet looking set-up. Bet it sounds great also!

    I'm not trying to rain on your parade or be an a** but do you have any concerns with vibration with your sub being mounted directly under your equipment the way it is? It looks great but I would be concerned about vibration from the sub possibly causing adverse affects on the equipment above it. Just a suggestion to something that may not even be an issue, but could potentially result in better sound if you moved the sub away. Going to hide in my cave now......

    So the sub is not :on the rack, but between the rack isolated by a subdude and spikes. The sub firiing makes no connection to the rack at all.. Really no diifference than having it along side. I don't really crank the sub so that it could move and make any contact with the rack.

    The burst strat is actually a Fernandes... But the Black One is a '76 Fender that I bought new back when I was a pup in '76. Still my fav of all time.

    Now uless you can make those guitars sound like this....not so sure there worth the money. They look real nice sitting there, but unless you can play them...not so much.....

    He is da man for sure... Don't get to practice much these days... Now more of a collector/hoarder..Guitars are like fine wine to me.
