With the acquisition of the 105 I've moved the 83-SE into the bedroom and now have a stock BDP-83 I'd like to move along. This unit is in excellent condition and come with all the original packaging and accessories, I can't find a single flaw with this player. Oppo just replaced the drawer mechanism in the drive, so you're basically getting a new unit with the new version of the drive and updated firmware. It's all boxed up and ready to go, but if needed I can take it out and post photos, it's in mint condition though just like the other stuff I've sold here.

Even with all the players out today this is still a very solid performer and honestly seems just as good as my new 105 for Blu Ray and DVD playback, that's probably why these have held their value as well as they have.

I'd like to get $225 shipped to the lower 48, $200 for a local sale. Average price on eBay for these is north of $250 plus shipping with the occasional broken or unit in questionable condition going for less and units in the same condition as mine going for well above $250, my price includes the usual Polie discount and seems fair.
