Holiday visit to the Doctor

I was in Doc's neck of the woods this past week and managed to squeeze in a brief visit among my other holiday obligations. He's a great guy and welcomed me into his home. I was only there for about an hour and a half, but we were able to check out several impressive demos from some movies and music as well. I won't go into any lengthy descriptions, but he really has things nicely tuned. It looked and sounded great!
Thanks again for your hospitality Ed, and if you're ever in the Houston area, I'll be expecting a visit.

The second picture is rather interesting: Doc is flashing gang signs and Steve is pointing at his weener. Looks like fun, though.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Actually, at first glance I thought Doc was holding an imaginary glass of beer. Maybe his hand is 'stuck' that way now. You know, a Bob Dole kinda thing?
Steve, you should try to make it 'up' for the Texas Gathering in late Jan.
Cheers,

Actually, it's not an imaginary glass and it's definately not beer.

Actually, you can't tell, but it's a shot glass with Balvenie Double Wood single malt scotch.
Steve didn't want to come over empty handed, and was nice enough to bring over quite a bit of beer, depsite being recently unemployed (see previous threads from him). That was a very classy move IMO, and speaks volumes about the quality of the members at Club Polk.
Steve is a proud new owner of a PB2+ himself, and we played a bunch of stereo, SACD, and DVD-A titles to show off how good it sounds with music. We discussed his system set-up (sounds really nice) and some sub tuning tips and then let rip with a bunch of bass heavy DVDs in various states of tune. I wish we had more time to chat, but it was getting late and he didn't want to wake his guests coming home too late.
Steve is a really nice guy and I hope he can hook-up with some CP members in the Dallas area.
Here is a pic from my POS digital camera, just to show you I really did pay $70 for it - look how bad the pics look compared to his!
