Upgrade to Rti100 or RTi70 from RM7600 ???
Hi Polk Audio Fans,
I am a newbie as far as Club Polk is concerned and I have been hooked on to reading your posts for the past 3 days !
I am a proud owner of POLK RM7600 / PSW650 Satellite/Sub combo for the past year and have been really happy with it. Home Theatre as you all know is simply phenomenal. However, at times I get the feeling that I am missing out something when I am listening to an audio CD specially at a lower volume.
Hence I have been itching to upgrade my front speakers for the past couple of months. Last week Fry's Electronics had a closeout special on the Polk Rti100s for $179 a peice and I picked up a pair.
I have them at my home however I haven't opened the box and thought I should consult with you experts before moving ahead with this upgrade.
Please advise me if I should go ahead with the Rti100, or buy the Rti70 (presently a lot more expensive !) or should I just hold off for now.
Thank you for your assistance,
Raj

I recommend the 70's over the 100's if you have a good sub like the 650.
The 70's have a better midrange, are easier to integrate with the subwoofer, and sound best when run on small."What we do in life echoes in eternity"
